There are no guarantees in life, but I can tell you as a many time practice registrar that a lot of people get in off the waiting list. I know its getting very close but if you want in, monitor things regularly these next couple of days and be quick to respond to Renee or Yuki if they offer a spot.

We figured an average of 6 cancellations, and then only a partial positive response rate from waiting list people. So, you often need 10 people to fill 5-6 spots.

How many runs in total will we be able to get through the entire day? There are 8 sessions, but with the rest and course work times, how many laps can we expect to get?

I think they were going for an average amount of 14 or so if all goes well

I don't think it matters for your list, but if I can make it out on Saturday, I will be sharing with Karen Zaterman. Testing our newly rebuilt Penske's ... assuming I can get the car put together before Sat ...

I'm aimimg for 16 runs but again I cant promise anything, but if the schedule goes as planned each entry should get 16 runs.

And if your planning on helping, If we can have people come around 6ish to help. I know its early but the earlier we can set up, the more we can get the day starting on time. Please Please Please, NO$ members it is your responsibility to come early to help so please be there setting up the course :!: thanks!! (Renee correct me if you want them to come earlier or later)

I forgot to ask earlier :D I have a couple buddies on the waiting list, do you want them to show up on Saturday and maybe they'll have a good chance of getting in or will it be finalized on Friday if they made it in or not? They've been asking me all week, "did I make it? did I make it?"

I have updated the Practice Entry list. However, I can't guarantee that everyone on the waiting list will be able to run. That's actually up to Yuki (aka Renee in training). Good luck!!!

I received an email that Paul Whitehead has canceled, so Dung Nguyen if you can contact me via email or on the message board and let me know if you can make it!

as for waiting list people, let me know if you really want to make it or if your arrive early and hang around to see if we can squeeze you in... more points to you if you email me and telling me that YOU WILL help out in the morning set up... but again I CAN NOT PROMISE ANYTHING. I need to see how saturday morning turns out... thanks for understanding...

I really want to make it to the practice tomorrow, but I don't want to drive all the way out there unless I at least have a pretty good chance at getting in. I think I'm now 4th down on the waiting list, I know you can't guarantee anything but what are my chances of getting in if I show up tomorrow morning?

Your car has AC. Use it whenever you can

Last July, I asked Simanyi to give me an instructor run. As he was about to go out with someone else he says, "Go to your car, roll up the windows, crank up the AC and I'll be there in 2 minutes." I can't remember if we made the run with the AC on, but I remember not wanting to turn it off...

Yes, things can heat up out there in Fontucky. If you get too hot and sweaty, sometimes it's just better to stop and take a short breather and water break before continuing. Too bad the showers aren't open to us. A cold shower works wonders.

So what is the story for the standby list? It's 8:30pm on Friday. Do I assume no body made it?

The standby list is the waiting list. Meaning if your not on the waiting list, Im sorry but its very slim that you may get in because people on the waiting list may show up and they do have priority...

waiting list people! Im sorry its already like 1030 and stating this but I cant make everyone happy.

Only these people on the waiting list have a chance to get in the practice:
COZE, ZACHARY
BOOTH, BRAD
BERRY, STEPHEN
LANDRY, PETE
SPROULE, JOHN
BLACKSTONE, LOUIS
SLAUGHTER, CHARLES
MAGGIORA, MARCO
CHIN, BILL
HARTENDORP, JONATHAN

In order to be considered, you have to:
1) show up before 630 to help setup.
2) Final decision on who gets in from the waiting list will be decided by me at 830am. I will base it off of this list.

This is already a full event... It may happen that you come and help, and you wont make the list...
