Is this a leisurely cruise or a spirited drive?
How long is the drive?

Very spirited in certain extended sections ... starts after early coffee and donuts and goes to close to lunch ... with a couple of break stops/photo ops.

The route has changed due to conditions. It is follows:

Happy Holidays !- 12/31 suggested route change!

We hope the New Year brings all the best in health and happiness to you and your families. In our efforts to further that thought, below is the suggested directions for the New Years Day drive therapy. Please share this with your friends and encourage them to join us.

7:30 am meet at TRE Motorsports - Coffee and bagels for the first 150 people (donations to defray expenses gladly accepted )

8:15-8:30 leave- 405 SOUTH to Sunset Blvd

Sunset Blvd- EXIT and continue on Sunset towards PCH (NOTE - High residential area with lots of sudden light changes and residents pulling out of driveways)

PCH RIGHT

Topanga Canyon Blvd RIGHT

OLD Topanga Canyon LEFT (Heads up on oncoming traffic !)

Mulholland Highway LEFT

Stunt Road LEFT

Top of hill is a stop sign. Also a parking area if you wish to stop and take pics. Be aware of accordion effect of a alot of cars stopping at once.

Scheuren Road (the stop sign) HARD right-(Careful its narrow and blind )

Scheuren to Piuma / Rambla Pacifica

Piuma RIGHT

Malibu Canyon Road (signal) RIGHT

Mulholland Highway LEFT

Top of hill is a parking area above a section known as the "Snake" picture opportunity

Kanan/ Dume Road (stop sign) LEFT (HEADS UP on cross traffic!)

Latigo Canyon LEFT (Heads up oncoming traffic)

PCH RIGHT

Encinal Canyon RIGHT

Continue to Decker Canyon (this is just past where Encinal makes a sharp right in the narrow section)

Decker Canyon LEFT

PCH RIGHT

Yerba Buena (Neptunes Net- pch is closed north of here) RIGHT

Yerba Buena changes names to Little Sycamore

Mulholland Highway LEFT

Decker Canyon RIGHT

Encinal Canyon (about 1/2 mile west on Decker- its your first left you can make) LEFT

Continue LEFT on Encinal after the jog off Decker

Continue across Kanan/Dume (CAREFUL of cross traffic !!)

Continue to Malibu Canyon RIGHT

PCH LEFT

Continue to DUKE'S restaurant, located at junction of PCH and Las Flores. You can park your self, but must pay the parking fee.

This is just a suggested route to drive legally and enjoy the company of your friends.
If you wish to pass a friend, turn on your headlamps and left turn signal. When a safe opportunity arises, please wave the passer by
Those wishing to arrive first at the restaurant should leave the coffee and bagels area before the others
You are sharing the road with lots of other people and be courteous (even if they may not be)

Not as spirited but I believe a more diverse group of cars to look at, including a 1971 Daytona and a "real" Cobra.
