George,

The system allowed me to register Historic2, H Stock. If we need to run "only" the SCCA class groups please let me know and I will update my car in the system.

If you are allowing people to volunteer for work assignments I can help in "tech".

I think SK1/SK2 are the only local classes.

This is posted under "Numbers and Classes" at MSR.
I believe we offered these last year as well.

SK1/L, SK2/L, CSM/L, CST/L and HST1/HST2 will have their own classes.

We will discuss this at the meeting on Wednesday. As soon as a couple of decisions are made, I'll post the supp regs that should answer all local concerns.

I did email them and got a response too!
They don't have a forum or website. Jay said he would let everyone know.

Nice... Kind of funny that the President of the FIA Senate, Nick Craw (also past SCCA pres), is a member of the Guam Region.

I don't think they're giving contingency for this event - am I wrong (I hope so!)?

As of now, they are not a contingency sponsor. What do they normally do for contingency?

$200 for first, $100 for second. Nothing for third.

Trying to register & yet ( Maybe I'm confused? ) where it says # after the car I'd like to enter my points card number of 306 yet the numbers seem to stop at number 200?
Is that not for our PC #?

You probably skipped over all that text you were supposed to read....
Numbers and Classes:

A ‘National Style’ numbering system will be used for this event. Competitors will choose any number 1-99 for a first driver and add 100 to that number for a second driver. Cars without a co-driver will use 1-99 only. Numbers are available on a first come first served basis per class (e.g. 99 in AS is seen as different from 99 in CSP). As always, easy to read numbers and class letters are required on the car.

If you are a local Cal Club points card holders, do not use your SoCal Solo points card number for this event unless it happens to fit within the "National Style" numbering system described above. If you have a numbered placard with a number higher than 99, you can still choose a number in the preferred range (1-99) and using tape to cover unneeded numbers on your existing placard. Unless otherwise requested, those who normally compete locally in a Pax class will be reclassified for local points and scoring after the event. Like all national events, the run order will be created based on registrations and will not be the usual local run order rotation.

PAX Drivers will run in their National Class run groups.
CPM Drivers will run in their National Class run groups.
NOVICE Drivers will run in their National Class run groups.
SK1/L, SK2/L, CSM/L, CST/L and HST1/HST2 will have their own classes.
X runs will not be available.

So how does this work towards my NOVICE events during my 1st year? ( Still wished I could have start at the start of the year to get the whole year to shoot for this novice trophy, But Oh well.. )

Does this event count towards that?

While the Divisional itself is a two day event like a Tour, it also counts as two championship events. Those whose local classes don't exist in the Divisional will be reclassified for the championship scoring.

Is that official now? It wasn't decided a few weeks ago, which is why I ask.

A normal locally hosted weekend consists of a practice on Saturday (no points, no results) and a Championship (which counts for points) on Sunday. The Divisional is structured like a National event, where you get 3 runs on the course forwards on Saturday, and 3 runs on the course backwards on Sunday. Take the best from each day, add them together, and that's how the winner is decided for the event.

Rick is saying (and this is how it was last year) that for the local CSCC championship standings (i.e. Novice class), Saturday and Sunday will each be scored as a completely separate Championship events. So, you will get two scores that go towards your best 6 of the year.

I didn't mean to confuse you, I just didn't know it had been officially decided that that was how it's going to be handled this year.
