How to sign up for Novice School

Post by David Crandon »

OK, so as a relative newbie, I'm a little confused with the Google calendar and such.

I'd like to attend the 2 day autocross school at El Toro on Sat and Sun 7/15-7/16.

But how do I sign up...is it a check sent to one of the local clubs, online signup, or what...?

Also, the Street Survival thing...is that the Tire Rack sponsored thing for new teenage drivers? I've got a couple friends with new drivers in their families.

Thanks everyone,

Ok, thanks for the link. That will help with my friends for the Street Survival School.

However, I'd like to take the Novice School the same weekend. I'm assuming this is an autocross Novice school for all, not just the women's school that's sometimes offered?

Thanks again.

Yep, this is the open school. Registration isn't open yet, but likely will be soon. Details will be posted on the forums and MSR.com when it is.

How often do these happen?
I ask because now is the perfect time for me, yet when this school takes place I will be over sea's on Holiday.

We try to do them once a year, but they don't always happen. (We didn't have one last year.) There are others around. EVO school. San Diego has a school the first weekend in June. (It's full.)
