September 24th Practice Registration Open

Post by Rick Brown »

Click HERE to go the the registration site.

The info in somewhat preliminary and may change. Registering does not guarantee entry, only puts you on the list.

While there is no specific entry priority for this event, but be aware that CSCC officials, club reps and some others may be given a priority. The powers that be do notice people that volunteer often and put in that extra effort to give back to the region.

Rick,

I may have submitted my name twice on the practice registration site. Should I be accepted, kindly remove the other one. Thanks.

A couple quick notes:

Entry list is now published: https://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm ... 0795E9A602" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also we made a mistake in setting up the event and had it listed at $65 instead of $55 for single entry. Sorry about that! The sign up forms have been updated. If you've already registered, no action is necessary on your part.

Look forward to seeing everyone back in Fontana!

Hello. I'm new to autocrross but been to a few events to watch my son and their friends drive. I feel all of the people are nice and it looks like fun. I signed up for practice on 9/24 and hope to get in so I can participate. I'm currently on the waiting list.

Folks,
We still have a few spots left. This is your chance to get into one of our fun practice event without being on a waiting list. I am capping the event @ 75 entries so don't wait too long to register.

Thanks.

I have had minor outpatient surgery on my left arm and the doctors do not want me driving until the arm gets better.
Therefore, Jo Ann and I have to cancel our split entry for Sept. 24th. The doctors do not want me left alone and Jo Ann agrees.
Thanks. George Lynch

Event is sold out. No waiting list. There is almost always no shows the day of the event so if you just show up there is a chance you might get in. If you don't, you can always go for rides which can be a valuable learning experience, if not just plain fun. First come, first serve.

Diana Albin would like first dibs on the first open spot please. They have a split entry but would like to change to two full entries when space becomes available.

Updated MSR to add her and make Tim a single entry. We're at 70 people now, so there is space for walk-ups on Saturday morning.

If you want to run in the practice, I still suggest going through MSR while it's available or directly via PM to Theo. That should lock in your entry. If you just walk up Saturday morning you won't be assured of getting in.

Will we be running Junior Karts at lunch Saturday ?
My friend Tom's daughter Monica would like to come out again, and is looking for a kart to use if we are doing this.
She was out to the last practice we had at the speedway and drove at lunch and had a blast... I think the hook is set.
Dad will be there and is more than willing to contribute some green to the cause.
Thanks.

I will gladly defer to Diane, I have to cancel my participation in the practice on Saturday, my replacement part didn't arrive today, UPS is now forecasting tomorrow. I will still show up to work my gate assignment but won't be running the car.
