Tech workers needed for 12/10 & 12/11 events
I need volunteers to help out with Tech for the next weekend event. Working Tech counts as your work assignment for the day. Shifts are listed below. Please PM or email me if you're interested- let me know which shift you would prefer and whether you've worked Tech before or not.
C'mon out and wiggle some wheels!
Saturday Practice (12/10):
7:00 - 8:30: Jack Tsou
7:00 - 8:30: Ed Holley
Sunday Championship (12/11):
7:00 - End of 1st run group: Ed Holley
7:00 - End of 1st run group: Arthur Grant
End of 1st run group - Noon: Jack Tsou
End of 1st run group - Noon: Steve Lepper
Note: for the morning shifts on 12/11, we should be able to carve out 15-20 minutes for each worker to do a course walk if desired.

I'll take one of the "End of 1st run group - Noon" slots if they're still available.
With our current run order, does this leave time for a lunch break course walk?
I've been doing tech at SCCA events for about 30 years.

Steve: yeah we should be able to swing that. I'm in the 2nd run group and will be coming back to tech when I'm done, so we'll have enough bodies to let you take a lunch course walk if needed.

Dave, not sure yet if I am going to run Sunday, but I would be willing to work Tech Sunday morning if you still need someone.

Thanks, Arthur. I went ahead and put you down, but if you think you aren't going to make it, let me know and we'll see if we can find someone else.

Dave assuming my car is ready to run Sunday, discovered I have a problem. I am in the first run group and my work assignment will last until the end of the frist run group. Any chance I can get moved to run in a latter group?

In looking at the BSP entries, I don't think that would be a problem Art. Officially though, you'll need to ask permission of the other folks competing in BSP. Looking at the list, I don't think you'll have any objections.Arthur Grant wrote:Dave assuming my car is ready to run Sunday, discovered I have a problem. I'll work with the assumption that Art will be able to change run groups. If that ends up not happening, Ed and I should be able to manage, or we can pick someone else up in the morning.

I am not happy with my car, still having issues with the VATS i.e. wont start reliably. I am going to leave the car home and come out and work my shift. Will be there at 7am.
Thanks
All, look forward to seeing everyone.
