Feb 2012 Practice

Post by Steve Ekstrand »

Now that was a practice today. Bazillion runs. Smooth event. Great announcing. Great food. Girl Scout Cookies. AND A KICKASS COURSE!!!

Well done guys!

Hats off to Stephen Yeoh for an amazing course design. I rode one lap with Will and have never been so intimidated by a course. Drive it twice and was just pumped and winded. I think I forgot to breathe for 49 seconds. Proving of course that I have more stamina than Will as he only had to hold his breath for 47.8 seconds.

I did 14 runs on that course, and only did it right twice!!! On one run, I nearly lost going down the hill, and had to stop for some clean underwear. Haven't scared myself like that in a long time!

Great course, Stephen.

It was a great practice event. Kevin had a good time in the 135i, although he tells me it needs "more grip".

And the grid ran super smooth, and lunch was included!

My first post to thank for such a fun practice course! Loved the big skidpad-like left turn at the ~3/5 mark :!:

Agreed all around on the feedback.

That downhill section was wicked fast, limiter for me when I got it right for about 3-5 pops.

Hats off to ya Stephen....
