POST THAT ONE! :-D

Speaking of distracting, where the cars were parked for the slalom during the practice was quite distracting visually as I'm going "flat out" in the Sprite up to the turn-around. I knew I wouldn't hit them, but I've spun/understeered the Sprite almost as far as where they were parked at lower speeds... also, the workers who stood about 20 feet from the outside of some turns (I did bring that up, but then they'd pop up on the outside of some other turn in another group).

In my defense, I'm not used to reverse being on the left (it's to the right in the RX-8). I kept missing 2nd by putting it into the reverse channel on my downshifts.

And here's my fastest run from Sunday, a 66.4xx. Unfortunately I coned all my runs, on this run it was the second cone on the right after the long slalom (with 3 pointer cones).

Dude, that was like 500'! If you're sliding that far, you need to start buying Don some stickier tires!

Course workers didn't realize we were on pretty damn old tires in the morning, kekekeke. Afternoon tires were fun :). Luckily, I think we'll be done w/ those practice tires soon!

That, and I tend to brake too late for those pesky turn-arounds.

Hello All,
Yesterday was my first time autocrossing and I had a blast! I was in the MR2 Spyder. I also took some pictures of Groups 1 & 2. Since it was my first time photographing cars I'm still learning but thought you might be interested in the pictures anyway. I left it so you can download them from the site. There are 271 total; some of them are still uploading. All shots are unedited straight from the camera.~ Jason

The car's already stopped & I may just be a big chicken, but I would have been 50 feet away already when he started spinning out!

Doing it kind of backwards, but here's my best run from SATURDAY. 65.904 sec, but I did take out that poor cone at the entrance of the Chicago box. All my datalogging doohickeys were working for this one.

Curt Thompson's, CST 303, silver Miata, wife Chi shoot Run Group 5 ... hopefully she'll post a link to her photos.

I need to edit my shots before posting them. I was shooting tires for someone else and need to clear them out.

You ain't seen nothing until you've see a soft street tires being pushed! Our ST tires have side walls that are pretty stiff, but interesting to see the tires being pulled away from the wheels
