HUGE Hodge Pod of Photos ... mainly from Karen and local Judy Becker ... 1,900 ... so not all of the action shots are in focus. But it was still great that they filled in while I was spending more time concentrating on driving. Even my action shots are a bit indifferent. Mainly frozen moments so Marshall can study tires. :lol:

Bunch of shots of GoPro's ... that are the raw material for an eventual collage of mini cams in racing.

Geez, Mako and Pete (and Karen and Judy), you outdid yourselves! I just spent about an hour looking through all the cool images and slo-mo videos. So many great candid people shots as well as cars. I'll have to order a bunch for Mom to show her what I do on weekends!!

Here's a couple more vids from Saturday via the windshield cam, the day's best from me and Mako, respectively:

Helmet Cam of my last run ... took off 1+ seconds, which would have been good for 12th, STR ... if I hadn't hit the 2nd to last cone:

How about that gentle start :shock: :? :oops:

AND HERE IS THE Rear facing camera which captured that cone, 60 fps ... spinning around so that it almost ends up back in the box! :cry:

Day 1 Run 1 - Too Many Cones!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hV1IDXPC ... e=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Day 1- run 2 - 54.608 +1 =(
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA52HuUt ... e=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Day 1 Run 3 - 55.299
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKWND80a ... e=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My first run i quickly found out how much the brakes didnt work as well when trying to slow down from 72+ mph... On run 3 I really wanted to make sure it counted so I was off the edge from my second run and ended up slowing down too much unfortunately.

Some folks reported being able to see by eye that the S2000's were noticeably faster across the top of the hill vs the MX-5's

Jeff C certainly didn't just switch from an MX-5 to a S2000 just for looks, although I would. :D

My photos are now up at: http://www.pbase.com/bryanh/sdtour12" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As always be sure to use 'Original' size with PBase for best quality.

Mako, I love this shot: http://public.fotki.com/makofoto/2012-r ... -5841.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :) Using a 300mm prime with 1.4x TC?
