Would you like to instruct as your work assignment? - 7/22

That's right folks, your dream autocross job is available! You could be an instructor as your work assignment!
I am looking for ONE instructor for the FIRST group. Our problem with that is pre-running the course disqualifies a driver for championship points... which means you will have to run as TIME ONLY, though you can still run with your class if you like.

We are looking for a seasoned driver who wouldn't mind giving up champ points for a chance to instruct for their work assignment - trust me, it's much better than working course. You must have competed in at least half the events of the last two seasons or have instructed at a championship or one of our schools to participate. Please send me (Leonard) a PM (private message) through this message board.

Hello Leonard!

there's one way you can fix the problem for the instructor running as 'time only' thus losing points, no instructor runs on the first group. no novices on the first group also. if the novice driver is classed in the first group, let that novice run time only in the second group. cheers!

Much more complicated and difficult than finding a single instructor.

Leonard, you can always grab me, too. I'm not in this for points as I'm mid-pack anyway & have made the Club racing more of a priority.
No, Mako -- you do NOT need to supercharge your new Miata! ...cuz now it's my turn to take it to the track :)
hmmmm... it is no longer "new" -- is it time to get faster?

BTW, anybody know who the worker chief for Sunday is? Mark Duerst isn't it despite being listed as it on the flier.
