Course Setup Friday Sep 21st
First come first serve. I need (2) body workers to help setup course. This will count as your work assignment for Saturday's Practice OR Sunday's Champ event. ***NOT BOTH***. This work assignment also involves the course switchover at the end of Saturday's practice. You will need to fulfill both duties in order to be exempt from work.

My plan is to bring the Nationals East course onto cal speedway to let all of those who didn't go to nats to experience such a course. Of course it will deviate quite a bit but the goal is to have a national style course. Sunday will be reverse of the nat's course. This should be a very fun course and easy to layout. ;)

Re: Course Setup Friday Sep 21st
Please keep in mind motorhome placement when setting up start/finish/grid. Not relevant which side of the motorhome the start is on, but for Sunday the staging line needs to be a good distance past the motorhome (not next to it) and ideally angled slightly across the front. Making it easy for the timing crew to see cars without looking over their shoulder is a nice thing.
Also, placing the motorhome near the middle (grid on one side and pits on the other) makes the PA system much more effective.
Thanks for your consideration.
Rick

I'm still stuck at work, so I'll be there a little late. I work in Santa Monica and I'll be leaving in the next 20 minutes or so. I should be there by 2:30 assuming no traffic.

Oversteer is better than understeer because you don't see the tree you're hitting.
