Is El Toro Raceway now called Top Gear USA at this address: 6990 Marine Way
Irvine, Ca 92618? I googled for the address/location and most of what I see says "formerly El Toro raceway".
The quick answer is that THAT address will get you there.
Top Gear is one of several tenants utilizing former hangers and buildings on the site. Marine Way is the entry gate and perimeter road that is accessible to the public for scheduled events. When you come in the gate, you turn right and follow the road around about 1/4 mile, then turn left toward the runways. The turn-in is at the same place where the radio controlled airplane clubs are usually flying, but not always. Also, at the turn left area, we usually, but not always have a small "SCCA" sign. If all else fails as to the left turn, it is almost adjacent to a direct line to the HUGE orange balloon, ONCE you have followed Marine Way around to the right from the gate.

Go here: http://www.solo2.com/event_locations.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and scroll down for El Toro. As Jay mentioned, the last part of the route to where we actually are may vary.

And the first post has now been updated. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you everyone for directorial responses. I should be able to get to the main gate now, and I'll ask directions from there as recommended. Thanks, again. I know when I first got here in late Sept. and was trying to find the AAA Speedway, it turned out it had also just recently had a name change. Is there a lot of speedway turn-overs or just happens to fall this way at this time?

Any change on working around these dates? I would like to take phase two and not sacrifice a race.
If you're asking from a calendar POV, the EVO group piggy-back's off of our administrative stuff, so they will always be on an event weekend.

Does any one know if the Ladies Auto X day is going to happen in November? Haven't heard anything about it and I'm trying to coordinate my track schedule for the rest of the year

The speedway dates aren't final yet, so I don't want to post just yet. But I'll email you the tentative schedule.

We have contracted dates with El Toro. We have requested dates (back during Nationals) with AAA. We don't have an answer from AAA yet.
