No rush, George. You might want to correct the date.

Edited MSR to reflect this. It was enabled, but the text said online payment not available.

George,
I signed my son and I up to get some seat time in our STS Miata.
I signed us up for time only but we would also like to sign up for X runs (we really need the seat time)
When should we get there? What group will we be in?

You may pick your group for your Time Only runs and also for your X-runs. However, there are limitations on the number of X-Runs per group so the earlier you get there, the better your choices will be. Of course you must work one group for your TO runs. It would be possible to get your TO, X and work within just the morning or afternoon groups.

Around what time will the last run group start and end? This is my first time coming out. I'm in the novice class but my car is STU; is there a run group where all the novices are grouped in, or am I in run group 6? IF 6, Should I show up a little before lunch, or come out as early as possible in the morning to learn the lay of the land?

Besides telling you that the first group will start at 9am and end when it ends, everything else depends on turn-out. Registration and tech both close at noon, so it is wise to get there no later than 11:00 if you're running in the afternoon. Novices do not run together but instead in their base class.

If you're unsure about classing, go here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1158" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There is no way to know exactly when a group runs since pre-registration is not required, so we don't know how many will actually show up. At the moment registration is a little low which can lead to groups being combined, and that can alter when your group runs. Combining is only done within morning or afternoon sessions. Novices run with their base class, so you do run with Group 6. You should get there between 11:00 and 11:30 at the latest in order to have time to register & tech (tech and reg close at 12:00), and then be there for the lunch time Novice course walk.

I registered for the April 28 event online. Am I required to pay the $30 registration fee online or can I pay it in person on Sunday?

Thanks,

Mihail

My Sunday just miraculously opened up. Looks like I have no choice but to be there. Going to be in STR this time around though, since my new wheels are wider than stock, and I don't have new tires for my stock wheels yet.

Actually, what I probably should have done is to register in the "California Street Tire" class. Seems like that would have been a better choice. Any idea if I can change that now, or would I just have to talk to somebody on Sunday morning at registration?

On Motorsports Reg -> Go to the "Event Dashboard" page for the event -> Select "Update/change registration"

We have room in the Saturday Practice ... just walk-up ... earlier the better, ie. 7, 7:30

$80, but includes lunch ... one work session

Was there a thread for the Practice event today? I would've liked to go but didn't see a thread and assumed there wasn't one for whatever odd reason...

Our calendar is up to date for 2013, if you want to transfer dates/events to your own. Also, like us on https://www.facebook.com/csccSolo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and you'll see postings when registration opens up.
