When I handed the keys to Dave, I was in second. Then everyone went fast.

Kudos to Jason! This was a GREAT event. A terrific venue, beautiful weather and a fun and challenging course. Made for a relaxing day of unlimited runs. But far and away for me personally, was my 56 second single run in Jessica & Kevin Pao's S2000. Never driven ANY S2000, let alone this one. Didn't even fit all the way in the seat and, seatbelts? Fogetaboutit!!! And Sharon is REALLY liking what we've done to Mia. She cranked off a 60 sec. run AFTER the competition runs. Woohoo!

Jason, count us in if you do this one again.

Really great event Jason! It was a fun and challenging course that required 8 shifts in my mazdaspeed. I would definitely come back again.

Jessica thank you for the drive in the s2000. Even though I had never driven the car it felt so easy to extract a 55. What a fun car! Those KW's are AMAZING!!

Great event Jayson. We had a blast. It provided a great excuse to get away with the family for the weekend and get the S2000 out for a road trip! After all, it should get driver every once in a while. :P

Amalia started with a 71 and nine runs later was at 62. Not bad for a grandma considering she never drove the car before and hasn't autoxed in many years.

Got home around 5:30 Sunday, washed the S2000 and put it to bed til next year. There will be a next year, won't there?

My favorite was taking grandson Luke out for his first time. Between the airplanes and the cars, he was in seventh heaven. Heck, so was I. Brought back memories. I've probably landed there 50 times on various ski trips and other outings.

I know you mentioned having to pay for an airport "babysitter", but I think this is SO cool that he actually went for a ride. Hopefully, he was "sold" and filed a favorable report. He certainly picked the right car.

Thanks again Jason. You did good.

I tried that once, too... didn't make it nearly that far.

Great job, Jay! Everything about the event was terrific: the course was fun, the competitors and crew were great, and the venue was spectacular (plus, how many other venues have built-in tie downs for our EZ-ups?)

Shoot, I didn't even think of that. I should have gone ahead and put my tent up. At altitude it's so easy to not notice you're getting burnt to a crisp.

I'm hoping to find a reasonable low lying venue to do another one of these in December. Wish me luck.
