Though I don't personally recognize the name, this person is also listed as living locally and won his class, so welcome and congrats:

Ahem... Greg McCance has been kicking butt on the Pro Solo scene this year. He's a great driver and a super nice guy to boot. On top of that, he drove his ESP WRX to Lincoln, as well as Farmington, and Packwood.

With so many of our own in close 2nd/3rd place in class, tomorrow promises to be very exciting. Bill, KJ, Tom/Marshal, Jeff Wong, Tristan all have a good shot, plus a couple others that are a little farther back aren't totally out of it.

I watched today at work. It's kind of cool watching both courses on one monitor with mutiple browsers. I know KJ for one wants this one REALLY badly. And he deserves it, what with all the mechanical crap he's had to deal with this year. He and Don/Dan whathisname were trading the lead back and forth...and both coning, then both clean. Very exciting!

And Tom, using the "rerun" as a strategy. Put him in front of Marshall from 3rd to 2nd...at least until tomorrow. And he's VERY close to taking 1st. Of course, they ALL are.

A BIG congratulations to ALL of those from the So-Cal and SD regions that went back to Lincoln to do battle. From the results, it looks like it was STIFF competition this year. I'm sure I'll miss someone, but congratulations especially to Nicole Nagler, James Yom, Christine Grice, Michael Heinitz, Paul Russell, Brian Peters (he's almost local), Jeff and Shawn Keisel (what's new?) Kevin Jung and Barbara LeRoy-Boehme.

And in Pro-Solo...Gary Thomason, Jonathon Lugod, Greg McCance, Paul Russell, Jonathan Clements, Zak Kiesel and Rick Jung.

What a party. We would really like to have been there.

Was there a protest that delayed the results?

I haven't been able to find the Pro Solo Finale Super Challenge bracket. Last I looked it wasn't posted on the SCCA website.
