NEW! Live Results
Beginning tomorrow with the February 8 event, we will have live online results available. Simply go to the following web site:
http://www.solo2.com/live_results/index.html
The results are updated once a minute, you will have to click on refresh to get the latest if you leave the page open. At the end of the event, overall results will be posted. The display format will likely vary as we experiment.
(Between now and the start of tomorrows event there will be random test data.)

Re: NEW! Live Results
As soon as the event is over and the last group is audited, basic results will appear in the Live Results link until the next event. Complete Class results and PAX results will appear in the normal Event Results section of the forum and will be updated as necessary. Live Results do not update once the event is over.
It did seem to work well most of the time. Unfortunately, when we did have an issue we usually had to wait until the end of the group to trouble shoot the problem. I don't believe there were any issues for the last two groups, so we may have things pretty well figured out now. This is a team effort, my thanks go to Stephen Yeoh, Jeff Stuart (who only broke it once today), Marshall & Christine Grice and Adam Tarnoff for their valuable assistance in making this a reality.

This is great, even though I didn't know about it! I know we are spoiled and that it's been only a day, but will we get the Indexed results soon? I know I didn't do well, but would like to see them anyway!
Thanks!

Are you going to put the Feb 8 results in the usual Event Results section? Also, do you think we can have the car year make and model listed in the live results? Right now there is the car color only.
Thanks,
Mihail

Re: NEW! Live Results
Yes, but unfortunately nothing I can do at the moment. I somehow left the power supply for the timing computer in the motorhome (it's different than any of the ones I have at home) and it's a fair distance from where I live or work so I probably won't be able to get it before the weekend. While I do have the paper backup and the software on my personal computer, can't do anything without the data files.Mihail Milkov wrote:Hi Rick,Rick Brown wrote:Beginning tomorrow with the February 8 event, we will have live online results available. Don't know why the car color is showing up, I turned that off (this is a new version of the software and there are a few bugs). There are two choices of display, mobile, which is basically just name and best time; and the full one like you saw. I can put in more columns like year-make-model (which can be big the way some people describe their cars), but I think then it's just too hard to read on a phone. As I said, I'll probably play around with what's shown a little.

Re: NEW! Live Results
We are aware of it, but the person who handles the web page couldn't do it from the event and probably just hasn't had a chance to get to it yet. (Knock, knock, Hello Leonard! )HowdyZ06 wrote:The link from the drop down menu on the homepage doesn't work.

Re: NEW! Live Results
Rick-
For the live results output, is there a live overall pax display option?
Club affiliation would be nice for team purposes. Not that many care probably, but if the info was available live maybe people would get more interested?

Re: NEW! Live Results
No option for overall PAX listing, but I can add columns for PAX Position and PAX Time. And yes, Team. Car info would be redundant since this is primarily for live at the event use. Just look who's next to you in grid. ;)Steve Ekstrand wrote:Rick-

I'd like to see the car info. I'm interested in more than just my class. This is kind of the long awaited replacement for score boards.Rick Brown wrote:Car info would be redundant since this is primarily for live at the event use. Just look who's next to you in grid. ;)

I would love pax position and time!
We don't need color. Could we do just make or model of car to shorten it?

I can do just make and model, but it is not size limited so it auto adjusts to the biggest name and there is always at least one "Nineteen Seventy Five George Forman Edition Huppmobile Classic 5 Door Sedan" to screw things up.Steve Ekstrand wrote:I would love pax position and time!
