Mar 14-15 Porterfield RallyX Season Opener

First RallyX of the season at Glen Helen is right just 2 1/2 weeks away. We tend to get a big crowd for the opener, and last week's RallyX at Ridgecrest was record breaking. The CalClub RallyX program's home page can be found here:

Saturday Mar 14th is a practice that basically operates on a per-run cost. I you want to try out RallyX with just a couple runs, do some serious test & tune or just get a bunch of very fun runs, this is an excellent avenue. Next practice isn't until October. Registration Link:

Sunday Mar 15th is the points event, 6 runs timed and classed. Remember the major scoring difference in RallyX is that all runs count towards your final time. Nothing gets thrown away. Detailed schedule will be out the Wednesday before, but generally competitors only need to commit to half a day. Registration link:

The 2015 Porterfield RallyX series includes 4 weekends (5 point events) this year. The cash prize pool for the season is based on each classes participation and is augmented by Rally Innovations sponsorship. Last year we gave away almost $1600 in cash to the series podium winners.

Pre-reg closes the Tuesday before the events. Season openers have had a habit of selling out, so I wouldn't procrastinate.

At it's lowest price in years, pre-reg is $45 for SCCA members and $60 for non-members.
