Vehicle number glitch when trying to register for 7/12 event

Post by Kevan Carstensen »

Hi,

I'm trying to register for the 7/12 event on motorsportreg, but I can't seem to make it let me use a 6XX number; it only wants to let me use my old reserved number (#480), which expired at some point in 2014. I reached out to motorsportreg support, and they said that the clubs control number assignments. Is this something someone in Cal Club can help me resolve?

Thanks! :)

6XX numbers are only available on Competition Sunday. They cannot be reserved.

Not exactly. While they cannot be reserved as a permanent number you can register with them online (with no guarantee that's the 6xx number you will actually get at registration), as long as you don't have a number assigned as a points card holder. It should work for you now Kevan.
