Sign up for Tech Workers, April 23-24 Fontana event

Post by David Barrish »

Sat (4/23):
6:45 AM - 8:15 AM: Daryl Lane
6:45 AM - 8:15 AM: Silvio Zucchet

Sun (4/24):
7:00 AM - 8:45 AM: Bill Martin
8:00 AM - 9:45 AM: Chris Meyer
9:00 AM - 10:45 AM: Max Guljarro
10:15 AM - 12:00 PM: Silvio Zucchet

I would encourage those that have never done this to come by and check out the process that other cars go though to "pass". We are possibly going to see a number of the CAM cars and I have noticed an increasing number of "600" cars that we help too.

That said, if you work please bring a roll of blue tape to share/donate.

Thank you.

Actually, there is plenty of blue tape in the motor home.

I am interested in being a tech worker, although I have never worked that position before (usually cone duty).

Could I still sign up for this for Sunday?

And just to clarify, this is for tech inspection? The workers who check the wheels, helmets, batteries etc.?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris,

Welcome. First question, what run/work group are you in? The format for this event looks like work or run AM, the FJ karts durring lunch then back to the work or run in the afternoon.

Tech is open until registration is closed. The overlap of workers is to provide a continuum of coverage and if things get busy we have the flexibility of sticking around.

This event would be a great starting point, check your run group and let me know. If you run "one", you could work 10:15-12:00/close.

Hi David,

I am STF which I believe is listed as AM group, but I have read that this event has a low sign up, so things might be a little different. I can do 10:15 to 12 noon. Also I don't think the official run/work groups have been posted.

I just checked the work/run schedule, and I work Group 1. And run group 2

Can I bump up my work time so it doesn't conflict?

Thanks!
