March 2018 Practice & Event

Post by Lauren Kane Porta »

Registration for the March 3-4 "Prep for the Pro Weekend" Hosted by SCNAX is now open.

https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/ma ... -ii-988219

Be sure to register for the practice early as we expect it to sell out. Please note that priority registration will be given to those participating in the Fontana ProSolo (https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/20 ... olo-292001). There is no entry limit for the Sunday event, so your entry is guaranteed.

When signing up for Sunday, you'll notice a new feature this month: the ability to sign up for your work assignment.

We need a Youth Steward for the event.
If you are available, please raise your hand.
Thanks!

Course Designer - Jonathan Lugod

Jonathan, make a good SSC course, (whatever that is). At least make one that Yomski hates.

I'm stuck trying to register. There's a new requirement to pick a work assignment, but when I drill down the options there's no place to actually select one (there's a pull down for "Second Choice"). Since its a required selection the system won't let me register.

Edit: I found it. The work assignment preference pulldown field is hidden under the "PAX" modifier. Field is mislabeled.

MSR restrictions dont let us edit the field names, unfortunately.

There IS wording at the top explaining the options.
Any suggestions to draw more attention to the wording to make people actually "read"?

Sunday run order, had to do more than usual adjusting beyond just rotating groups, so several classes are in new groups.

Super job by everyone at the March Sat. practice! I attended a "competitors" autocross event in Fonatana in Feb., and our Club is light years ahead of them in running an event and making an enjoyable experience
