Post by Chad Stubblefield »

Well JLB notified me that now I need hub centric rings for my wheels and the ones that should be with my wheels are a month away.

Where can I get custom made rings around here?

Why bother? I know hub centric is what all the kids are doing these days but lug centric still works...

Seriously.... You don't need them as long as you aren't a totally tool putting your rims on and your lugs arent made of pot metal.

But "Volk hub rings".....

What is the wheels hub center diameter?
What is the register diameter of the hub?

You'll probably need something like 57.1mm x 67.1mm

With lug bolts it makes tire installation a little easier. That's the ONLY reason I'd have for really wanting them.

WOW, if your piece of mind can be effected by something so useless that they are most often made of plastic, I sure hope no one told you what happens to your Lotus if you hit a cone.

Seriously, there are a lot of racers in World Challenge, Natl Club Racing and Solo running lug-centric. Spend the money on a BWR stud conversion kit, you will be much happier.

I have a bunch of extra studs if you want them...

The rings make it easier to hold the wheel up when using lug bolts, but the studs make it easier still.
