WTB: Mopar

Post by Chad Stubblefield »

this might be a stretch
I know there are some classic mopar folks around here.

Looking for some mopar steel wheels 14"x5.5 or 6 ,
Large bolt pattern 5x4.5,
need to accept the dog dish hub caps that I have.
Black. or if they need painting or powder coating thats fine.
looking spend around $25 a wheel for used ones.
let me know what yougot.

I have a couple of small bolt pattern, no large.

What are these going on?

You want four?

I'll ask Steve Wall the CPW prez, I know he saw my parts stash and went... "Don't throw those small pattern 14's away, they get $20 a piece at the Spring Fling swap!"

The 16x7 and 16x8 I had on my barracuda would look great on that car.

Stockton Wheel and some others make the stock steelies that will fit dog dishes in 16 and 17. Gives you much better tire options. 14's!!! Yikes.

since the duster is stock and numbers matching, I might as well do the stock 14's.
Then the E70-14 tires. Or the pep boys Futura ($60) if all else fails.

they did every time i've been. the cop car wheels were used into the 80's so they tend to be easyer to find. also you can wait ubtil FallFling and probably find some. forget the Rally wheels, cop car stuff looks much better

not crazy about the cop wheels
I like that solid look from the steelies.
I did buy some rallyes with centers, rings and tires that need to be repainted. Paid too much :(
But I have free access to sand blasting and a tire mounter back home so thats going to save moneys.
still looking for some steelies though.
thanks

My friend is going to check with another friend.

He says they aren't hard to get at any of the show/swaps. And about $25/per. But Fall Fling is four months away.
