FS: 1984 BMW 318i SOLD

Post by Tom Tanquary »

A friend of mine in Hollywood is selling his car. I've ridden in it many times and can tell you it's shockingly clean for a car this old. I have a bunch of pictures I can send.
PM me if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with him.

$2300 OBO

1984 BMW 318i E30 - 156,000 miles - 2-door - one owner- clean title - 5-speed
manual - air conditioning - Alpine white exterior - beige cloth interior -
sunroof - stock alloy wheels - Sony am/fm/cd - full size spare with alloy wheel.

Though it has 156,000miles .. that's about 5,400 gentle miles per year over 29 yrs.

It runs good, drives good and looks good and has been well maintained. Some
newer parts just put in 10,000 miles ago:

new camshaft, rocker shafts, rocker arms, cylinder head gasket, valve stem
seals. printed circut board, electronic control unit, fuel pump, fuel pressure
regulator, catalytic Converter. Easily passes smog test. Window tint is 29 yrs
old and could use replacement.

Dang, that thing looks clean. If Kencey was a little older, this might have been her first car.

Mere coincidence that Seb is holding exactly $2300 in his avatar pic?

This thing is CHERRY! Not even a single door ding, everything works. It's practically a rolling museum piece.

Nice buy Seb! And a great price.

If you need any tools to replace the rear subframe bushings, let me know. I believe they're the same as the M coupe.

Seb,

Welcome to the "glibo" and Historic 2.

Attached is your gateway to way too many "stock" part numbers.

Think positively... turning the a/c off is like a push-to-pass button. Passing a microbus, at least!
