WTB!!! Hankook RS3 255/R17

Post by James Yom »

I'm in desperate need of the Hankooks, otherwise no SD Tour for me. If you have or know of anyone that might have a set for sale, please let me know!

Yom - you big girl's blouse... what's wrong with Dunlops, especially at SD?

I have a set of 245/40/17 RS3s you could borrow for a small fee.

Nothing's wrong with them, other than the fact that I need to buy another set of wheels for them, and after the Tour, I won't touch them until we go back to AAA speedway, so $800 worth of tires is just gonna sit there, along with the $1000 worth of wheels.

How fresh are the RS3s and are they mounted? Dunno if 245s are gonna get it done on the fatty S2000... PM me and lemme know how much.

Thanks for the offer Maxi-pad

Anyone else with 255s???

Thanks so much for the offer Max. But after thinking about it, paying all the money for the entry fee, gas, hotel, only to not have a chance to win on 245 size tires isn't worth it. Thanks so much for the offer sexy!

So, Mr. Precision, you are blaming your future loss on .4" of rubber?

Plus James, it's not all about winning. It's about friendship, camaraderie, fun times, and all that bollocks!

Hellz yeah! Even if I had 255s, winning at SD would still be very difficult to the miata. I'd blame the silly STAC (:p :p :p :p) for not allowing 265s in STR! Seriously though KJ, you weren't around at an SD event when a certain person took ONE run in Max's car and DECIMATED all the STR front runners. Had he had another run, DECIMATION would have turned into ANNIHILATION. If Nancy boy can just get his head out of his arse and drive well for 2 days, Max should be able to win easily.

But Max, I get to heckle you at all of our local events, and I don't have to pay for a hotel! If I go, I need to make sure I ain't losing to no stinkin' Miata!!!

Just wait til the CASOC brass finds out about your statement, they'll be calling for meetings deciding your fate.

I think James is over simplifying my chances. With 27+ people in STR, there are probably about 10 people that can easily win!

I'm just happy to show up and enjoy the wonderful scenery }:)

Exactly - all these STR knob jockeys are racing almost every weekend, and I'm only racing once a month. I'm totally out of practice!

Well, I haven't been able to source these tires yet, so no go for me at the SD Tour in STR...

But I REALLY need to run and do well at the ProSolo for National points in STR, which is only 10 days away!!! Please, if anyone has these tires in decent shape, please sell them to me, I'm DESPERATE!!!
