Re: FS: 2003 WRX
The Cole's are FINALLY bringing out the family S2000! Why they would want to torture themselves in a WRX Wagon when they had a S2000 sitting in the garage, I'll never understand. Life is Too Short for that ... as they say, Youth Is Wasted On The Young.
btw. Darren is buying Karen's tire trailer to haul the R's for the S2000

Re: FS: 2003 WRX
Some people who run street tires have them shaved and don't use them for anything other than auto-x. Fewer heat cycles and punctures.Michael Palero wrote:Direzzas?Mako Koiwai wrote:SK1 ?

Re: FS: 2003 WRX
They have a long drive from Palmdale is my guess ... but yeah ... I wouldn't bother. Since they're buying the tire trailer, they've added the weight of a non-detachable hitch mount to their S2

Re: FS: 2003 WRX
To carry more stuff of course. The wagon was great at carrying all our stuff to to the track. It won't all fit in the S2000, especially for overnight trips. A fresh set of tires is just a bonus. The champ set will be 20mm larger than the set on there now (245F/275R). Some people said they rub, so i don't want to drive on them every day.
Yes, SK1.
I'm not worried about the weight, we aren't in contention for any championships.
