2002 Renspeed Kart. Currently set up for SCCA JB class with the restrictor.
This has been a great learning kart for both the driver and his father/crew chief. Those that have offered help and assistance know how challenged I was when I first started with this endeavor but even I have started to figure out how to make this a positive for the team.
When purchased in 2014 the kart was delivered to Kimball Williams in Parris CA for a technical inspection and seat fitting. The refresh included straightening the rear axel and a pair of axel bearings.
The maintenance over the years has included a top end refresh from Terry Nash, a new ignitor, and a new clutch that has just one weekend. FJB, given the restrictor, it's not hard on tires and we are getting a season per set.
The kart is 2018 ready, with the steering wheel kill switch installed and is 170lbs with oil and no gas.
Asking $1200 with a kart stand and limited spares.
Samuel has learned a lot with this his first race car, I can not thank everyone enough who has worked with me to be apart of this process.
