the sales counter is 34" and ADA compliant. I deal with this every f'n day. can you imagine having to prepare food on a display counter that's 34" high? talk about lower back pain.
i wonder if this means every wheel chair bound person's going to file suit against subway now, who is equally non-compliant as interpreted by this panel of judges.

I hate that our legal system allows, and even encourages this kind of crap. An originally positive attempt to accomodate disabled people becomes a blatant abuse that ends up screwing everyone in the long run.
