No charge for parking. You must be mistaking it for another swanky hotel.
Musta been the Hilton. One of those H hotels...

I've tried a couple of time for the weekend of the 2/24-2/26 and haven't hit on Priceline. If you play the Priceline bidding game, please post your win and amount as soon as you get a room so the rest of us can jump in on the deal. Thanks

I just got the 3* "Ayres Boutique Suites Ontario Airport" at 204 North Vineyard, Ontario, CA 91764 for $41.

It's in the Ontario West region, my $39 bid at Ontario East didn't work.

Typically Karen finds it best to wait until the last moment to play the priceline.com Name Your Price game, ie. Friday evening.

At the last event we ended up at the Ayres Boutique Suites ... nice place, free parking, good room service, like the lovely Hyatt Place, but just not as close.

All of the ones I'm willing to stay in. I'm hopping for the Four Points Sheraton, or that place in Sorrento Mesa.

just booked the days inn (5343 adobe falls rd) on hotwire for $48/night on 4/27-4/29.
all-in cost was $115 - 14-day advance purchase rate on daysinn.com was $126 so i'll pocket the $11 and buy some beer :)
it's the 2* kearney mesa - stadium option, btw.
stayed here a few years ago, it was full of autox'ers. prefer the ramada inn just down the road, but i like money more than i like hotels :D

Doesn't mean it won't work in the future Arthur. Hotels release groups of rooms sporadically. Best time to try in on Tuesday.

Also seems like the closer you are to the dates you want, the more desperate the hotels are to get rid of their unused rooms. There's no real incentive a month or more out.
