Do Any Racing Sims feature local tracks?
Do any of the racing games or sims feature Buttonwillow, Willow Springs, Streets, and CA Speedway Roval ?
Our first Miata Challenge event is at Buttonwillow. We've been passengers but never driven the track ourselves.

I don't have experience with it, but the first place I'd check for those tracks is iRacing.com

Usually Buttonwillow runs an open track day the Friday before an event. If schedules permit, might be worth the drive. We've been passengers but never driven the track ourselves.

iRacing has Irwindale (!) but none of our other "local" tracks.
Yes, Friday would be available to us, as well as Saturday, but it's a bit much for Karen to take Friday off and for the two of us to do Saturday is another $340, so we'll just "take our time" and spend our 4 or 5 twenty minute sessions on Sunday learning the track. Since we're sharing the Miata, we would be putting 400 minutes on the car/tires if we did the whole weekend.

Well, BW #13 CW is a very common config for many clubs. I'm sure you can find a video on youtube. Here's one from 2006, 2 laps before I blew up the motor.

Re: Do Any Racing Sims feature local tracks?
It's my favorite track, and #13 CW (what Vincent said) is my favorite configuration. It's a great track in that nothing is ultra-high-speed, but plenty fast to be exciting. If you're running this configuration, the only places that will really bite are cresting Phil Hill (get turning done early and cheat curb to the inside...it's very shallow), the Bus Stop left-hander (the true pucker-factor turn!) and Sunset (last turn before the pit straight), where an early apex will put you off in the dirt. Where people get in trouble here is, instead of driving off straight in the dirt, they try to wrestle the car back on track and end up hook-spinning into the inside pit wall.
Have fun!!

This isn't exactly a sim but, one of the Need For Speed Games has Willow Springs. Although, it looks like a carnival and not really like WS.

Willowsprings ... hardly recognizable in that game. I've done a ton of laps at Willow in camera chase cars + Terry Free's C6 Z06

Nice club racing ... but not a demonstration of ideal lines that one would be taking in a Time Trial situation. After seeing that video I'm surprised that Emilio is satisfied doing the Miata Challenge Time Trials rather then wheel to wheel racing.
