Parking?

Post by Ashley Armstrong »

Will autocross improve my parking skills? You'd think that after all this time I'd be able to get the damn car within the lines, but no; I try, to no avail.

Hey Ashley,

I spend a lot of time in Redlands. If you see my car, park away from it.

Thanks.

Crap, if I'd known there was a parking element to the school, I'd have taken it years ago.

What? You can't E-brake flip slide the car into a parallel spot.

Actually, when Will is done logging his daily commute until the end of the month, have him loan you the DL1. You can then compare your parking data between runs. You might want to get 3 data cards so you can compare "perpendicular","diagonal" and "parallel" parking runs on seperate graphs. :geek:

I can do diagonal alright. Perpendicular is where it gets messy. Parallel... let's not even go there.

'Cause whenever I make comments like that your wife hits me upside the head. BTW, it's nice announcing when I don't have to fear bodily injury coming from the auditing table...

But before you buy a car, save up for a parking space in a parking garage in the city which can sell for up to $250,000 plus monthly fees. Ouch! :mrt:

E brake slides into parallel parking slots was one of my "driver training drills" before I ever got a license. When it came to cars, I had the cool dad.

And I was the king of the Rockford turns out of a straight in parking space. :king:

I don't see why he pays for the mechanical bull when Paul is always offering up Schenker in the Bevo costume. :barf:
