Public Scales anywhere near Torrance

Post by Pete Loney »

Anyone know of a Public Scales anywhere near Torrance that I can weigh my truck and trailer??

Googling is not doing too well on this one...

Hi Pete,

Do a Google search for Cat Scales. There are several in your area. Don't try the one near Culver City, there not at the listed address, and want $60 at the new location, apparently the studios will pay... no one else will.

You should pay ~$10. They will ask if you want certified (that's more), the answer is no. If they want more $, keep looking. If you want separate trailer and truck weights, ask if they have axle scales, otherwise you will only get total combined weight.

I can't remember the name, but it was this place https://www.google.com/maps/@33.856178, ... BXWSEw!2e0

I weighed the old truck and trailer there.

Too big of a pain, and no ramps.
