IMovie quit. Now what?

What should I buy for my IMac? Around $100. Must be easy to use and do PIP. I had my Hard Drive changed and the computer expert can't seem to get my iMovie11 to work. He's tried 4 times. Get another expert, buy a new iMac, or just another editing software? I have Mac OS X 10.7.5 2.4 ghz. 4gb memory.

thanks,

Steve

Get another expert. If you're running the right version of osx there shouldn't be any reason the software won't run.

Edit didn't see which version of OSX you're running. You'll probably have to upgrade to 10.9 to install Imovie 11, which if your machine is newer than 2008 it should be compatible.

Thanks guys. I ended up downloading OSX Maverick. It came with a new IMovie. Looks like it's working. I made two videos so far.

Add more RAM too. I wouldn't configure any Mac to run with 4GB and Mavericks.
