Tips to flatten magnetic numbers?

I wasn't able to use my magnetic numbers this past weekend because a few of them had become slightly bent and I was worried they would fly off. Does anyone have a way to get them flat again? I'm thinking either heat or a lot of weight but not sure what would be best.

Typically people just lay them out in the sun until it's their turn to run. The material gets soft enough that will conform to any surface you stick it on.

We lay out the numbers in the sun or put them on the top of the hood vent when the car is warming up.

I do the same. If you are in a hurry or there is no sun, try cranking the heater in your car and holding them in front of the vent.

For 'creesed' magnets in between events I've put them in between my box springs and mattress.

If they're just curling, then store them on something steel and flat. Washer/Dryer, file cabinet. Water heater kind works (but is curved).

For race day: Direct sun tends to heat up faster than heaters and motors. Put them on the sunny side.

Don't leave them on a car over night, especially if wet. It can push moisture into your clear coat.
