Anyone else's solo2 notifications going to spam?

Post by Q V »

I've created a filter so that it doesn't do it (still gives me a msg at the top of the email, though). Anyone else experiencing this w/ solo2 forum notifications?

This is what Google has to say about why they are putting them in the SPam folder :

That's the first thing I tried, too. In gmail, it doesn't stop it from filtering back into spam w/o creating a filter :(.

Is this still happening? I've made some tweaks to the settings.

If it's still happening, please send me the full headers to review.

Thanks. Stephen

It's failing DMARC. I'll forward you the header info.

Stephen: yes it is. DMARC is still failing. One way to potentially finally fix this is to actually add email services/mx records to solo2.com so emails are being sent from a solo2 address instead of a un1teee address.

Hi George,

What date was the message that went to spam, and can you please send me the message headers - normally not visible.

Thanks. Stephen

Again, from my other emails/posts: is there a reason (cost or otherwise) that email notifications are coming from un1teee vs the actual domain?

These messages have been (and still) failing dmarc. Easiest way to pass authentication is to set up the solo2 domain for email notifications.

He's mine that was sent to spam from 2 hours ago:

I'm not exactly sure how to get you the information you need Stephen, but I can attest to the fact that both incoming and outgoing emails have ended up in my span folder. These are emails sent through the forums. Both were in the last week.

One thing I noticed is the A record for cscc.un1teee.com still resolves to 96.30.15.160; which doesn't appear to be responsive. Mail is coming from 64.91.246.41, which reverse DNS says is cscc.un1teee.com.

In other words, forward and reverse DNS don't match, and some spam filters do not like this.
