WTB 15" x5"to5.5" wheels 4X100 bolt pattern

Post by Daryl Lane »

What I am looking for is car storage and trailing wheels for a 79 BMW 3 series. We do not have enough track wheels to use for this, Stock wheels are 13mm offset but we run studs and spacers anyway because of the wide track wheels.

So I am thinking 25 to 30mm offset in a narrow wheel will work fine. Looking for 15 or 16" wheels - are older stock Miata wheels like this? These do not need to be pretty and steel ok - just hold air, Thinking we will put 185/70 or 75s on them for the job.

The thing with steel wheels is they need to clear the brakes, so center design may come into play.

Perfect I have three sets of wheels I need to get rid of.

Old Steel stock Miata rims were 14". I have just a set for sale, 14x5.5, steel wheels. They have 4 old, hard as a rock, all season tires that hold air on them. $ Make offer.

I also have a set of 14x5.5jj 39's white revolutions for sale w/ well used Falken 615's on them. $150.00

Also have a mismatch set (2 matching, 1 each of two more) of 4 Miata 15x6" sans tires $150.00

All are in Arcadia.

Hi Craig
Not knowing much about Miata wheels what is the offsets on the 15's, are they in the 30mm or 40mm range?

Two of the 4 are published on miata.net as 40mm, they are of the "sport" design. The other two do not have published offsets. All are from '99-'02 models.

The revolutions ('14's) 39mm offset have made their rounds in the So Cal Ax community for nearly 20 years on Honda's, Acura's, Toyota's and even BMW's (the person I purchased them from).
