Just want to confirm for 2019 Points wise....
Since we added the first Santa Anita event. We also added a drop correct?
So we should be looking at point totals with a total of 4 Drops for the year.
Christine's spreadsheet is not setup for four drops currently from the last update I saw.
Can someone confirm pretty please

Hi Pete,
I don't have any information that we added a drop. We did take a poll, and it was discussed during the meeting, but the minutes do not reflect a change in out policies. I have asked Mike Simanyi to review the recording of the September meeting to see if anything wasn't included in the minutes.

Re: Just want to confirm for 2019 Points wise....
Would somebody please update the points card list?
It shows it was last updated on February 16th.
I will need it to be current so I can do the end of year points.
Christine will need it too.
Thanks

Yeah, I also thought the whole point of the poll was to decide on how many drops in the season.

Next meeting someone needs to bring a motion forward on the results of the poll then to revise the 2019 supps.
I went looking for the poll and came up empty, who initiated it and what were the results. Please post the results in this thread.
Thanks in advance....

Re: Just want to confirm for 2019 Points wise....
I recall that the circumstances surrounding the poll was that the early August Santa Anita event was announced at the very last minute, member had like about a week's notice. So for fairness sake, since not all competing members could attend a points event on short notice, the poll was sent out to the general membership for comment on how the club should handle the last minute event. I recall the majority result was to still allow it to be a points event but allow an additional drop. I don't think it was ever discussed in subsequent board meetings. I agree with Pete that the issue should be addressed at the November meeting.

I agree it should be discussed and there are 3 drops already included.

From the minutes, I don't see that the issue was brought up during the November meeting. Has the issue been resolved?
