Haha, nope. One starter Porsche is enough for a lifetime and I have no desire to run street tires again. I think they are mostly on the right track, altho it still looks like an NC/Spyder class to me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Top-driver and top car-prep and I think the NC (and maybe the Spyder) will be faster. The S2k could win if it had a better driver and certainly could trophy. Of course with new classes, anything can happen, especially since it'll only be provisional to start and not mean much, likely keeping away alot of the top talent and car prep for a while.

I think, on the Carrera, price comes into play but it is an interesting idea...

...don't count out the MR2 Spyder. See the lightness factor that plays into the Civie's hand...

...and I think the funnest local car could be an NB. Light, relatively cheap and you get to use an LSD...

BMW M cars? The 2.8 cars make sense, but I didn't think the M's would be included.

With the stock catalyst rule, the NC is effectively strangled. The car can only make about 150 rwhp with all stock cats (bone stock is 140rwhp.) MR2 SW20's and Spyder's will be similarly handicapped.

For those with big budgets, a 3.2 Carrera has good potential.

Of the late-model cars, the S2K looks like the favorite.

I may run STR after I run STU. I don't think I can keep up with the likes of Simanyi in the Bavarian bobsled or Max in the dainty MX-5. If you can teach me some of your profound driving skills maybe I'll give it a chance. And, yes, you're right I bailed the class knowing some day you'd have fixed everything there is to break in a car.

They did have a turbo look version with the flares that's got a 4" wider track. But it also weighs 100lbs more.
On the standard car they did have an option for 225's. So, I imagine 255's with fit, but I was curious of the same thing.
