I spoke with Renee briefly this morning. It was *so* good to hear her voice.

We were discussing rallying the troops for a blood drive, but the cell call cut off and I haven't been able to reach her again. There are probably some details we need before I can coordinate this, but I want to give everyone a "heads up" about an upcoming push for fresh hemoglobin.

The good news is, she's letting the doctors and nurses live. }:) She's not too thrilled about being stuck in the hospital though...

The latest info on Renee from Papa CalClub:
Just talked to Renee and she is in a new room 511 ex 4750. Her daughter Lori is flying in tonight and Renee said she should be going home tomorrow. Renee said that if anyone would like to donate blood to the hospital it will help, she took 5 pints and would like to give it back to St. Nick's

RENEE went to the hospital in Sheboygan, WI

Just got off the phone with Renee. She's in good spirits and her attitude is positive. Despite what she's been through, she feels great and is anxious to get home. If all goes well, she should be discharged this afternoon.

Hey Guys - It's Lazarus or the cat with nine lives. I had a really big scare in Wisconsin and was told by the emergency doctor that if I had waited one more hour, I would have been "pushing up daisies". I guess you all know how stubborn I am, because I am NOT READY for any daisy pushing

I received 5 pints of blood and if anyone is interested in donating blood on my behalf and giving back to the hospital, the address for the hospital is:

Thanks to everyone for their support during my stay in the hospital. Lisa and Joi, there are no words to express my thanks. If it hadn't been for you two, I would not have survived.
