Does the term, "A cold day in H*ll" have any meaning to you?

I'm there/here ... Oklahoma City, on a FORD commercial with Toby Keith. A few days ago it hailed so badly that any car in the open in a particular ZIP code was automatically considered Totaled by the insurance companies because they just didn't have enough agents to check all of the cars. One of our local's neighbor had a week old car that had both front and rear windows smashed ... besides denting every top surface. Hot to Freezing in moments!

Wendover is ALWAYS an adventure.
How true, and thanks for the kind words, Steve. It snowed on us very hard near McGill also, but nothing like it did in the middle of hwy 318. One stretch there must have had 3 inches of snow on the road surface, with no tire tracks at all because of zero traffic that late at night in the true middle of nowhere. Snow was coming down so hard we could only see maybe 30 feet ahead in our too high headlights, with absolutely no clue where the sides of the road ended and the snow/mud shoulder began. No fun at all

For some reason Wendover and I get along really well, as I have won several Challenge competitions there, including my last one a couple years ago. Guess who that final round was against....yep, Andy Hollis.

Hey, how come Mr. Schenker, the (in)famous Western States CSP Champ hasn't congratulated me yet? I think I'm just a little bit hurt }:)

This was between Ely & Tonopah on U.S. 6 in the afternoon Sunday. On all the mountain passes (6-7 of them) had pretty heavy snow. There were times with no tracks and a few inches on the ground for 10-15 mile stretches, which is why I brought the Civic with all-seasons, instead of the M3. One grade had a little slippage going on, so had to slow down to 40 or so ;)

I don't think the pilot slowed down at all while we flew over all that crap. ;)

Thomason through the finish was still a sight that defies physics.

Nice driving Gary!
Also of note: Will Kalman took 2nd place in a tough STX class... and 3rd in the Super Challenge in a car he had never driven before this weekend. I'd say that was some great driving also!
Oh.. and Christine did pretty well too. ( Keep those tires coming Kiddo! )
And while we are at it here... Marshall kicked my butt on both sides scratch times... big time on the left.
Darn that .497 red light.

That's a major ProSolo failure for Gary, he was shooting for warp 9.879. ;)
