1995 Mazda Miata For Sale

Post by Michael Heinitz »

sold

1995 Mazda Miata for sale. 1.8L engine, 5 Speed manual transmission and 4.10:1 open differential. Base model car originally equipped with power steering as the only option. PS has recently been replaced with an OEM manual steering rack. OEM power windows have also been added. Currently prepped for STS and is also legal in STR and CSP.

195,700 miles, original engine and drivetrain. No accident damage.

Modifications include:
Koni yellow race shocks front and rear
Ground Control 2.5" threaded sleeves
Eibach 2.5" race springs, 800F, 375R
Racing Beat 1.125" diameter, 1/8" wall, hollow front sway bar
Momo Start driver seat on factory adjustable sliders
Flyin Miata high flow cat
Racing Beat catback exhaust
Socketed and chipped ECU
Unorthodox underdrive pulley
Jackson Racing 4-2-1 CARB legal exhaust header included (currently not installed)

Paint and body are what you expect from a high mileage car with lots of minor dings, scuffs, scratches, faded paint, etc. The soft top is original vinyl that seals up fine and works well, but is showing lots of wear. Back window is plastic but basically clear.

Mechanically, the car is good. Engine runs strong. New hydraulic lifters, water pump, etc about 2.5 years ago. New clutch and flywheel, belts, hoses, and radiator have all been replaced in the last 2 years all with OEM mazda parts. Front brakes need pad change (parts included in the sale). Oil leak at the front crank seal leaves a small drop of oil on the ground each morning. 20w-50 is the oil I use and it still consumes/leaks/burns about 1 quart every thousand miles.

Included in the sale is a Factory Service Manual, OEM driver seat (worn), one pair 450# Eibach race springs, complete OEM power steering unit, OEM front and rear sway bars, spare radiator, new fuel filter, and spare valve cover.

$4100 includes 15X7 Enkei RPF1 with well-worn 195/50-15 generic tires.

Car is located in San Diego.

A well-prepped, extremely quick car (well, at least when Michael's driving it!).
Should sell instantly, or sooner. Good luck, Michael!
