So I thought I'd hand out Halloween candy and go through the Miata's front brakes more or less simultaneously.(Lots of kids carrying around slightly greasy packets of "Fun Size" Skittles!)
I'm not really a painted caliper type of guy, but they were already painted and looking a little chipped and ratty. So after a can of Brake Kleen, wire brushing, amateur masking and several coats of rattle-can caliper paint, they look fresh again.
As a bonus,the lower control arms are now nice and shiny...had to wipe off all the red overspray!
Behold! Calipers that gleam like...gleaming calipers!

Those look good. I did my S2K and it makes them much easier to clean and check

Thanks, John. You're right about it making the visual inspection easier. And they were covered with anti-squeal goo that attracted dirt, so they really needed a good cleaning.
