That's some funny stuff right there! I hope the course workers aren't moving cones while the course is hot!

For me, ultimately it would depend on the run groups for Sunday. I'm not much of a practicing Catholic, but the young lady I'm presently courting IS. She's also very much family oriented and likely has something planned for Sunday.

That's also one of the alternating weekends that I can actually see her, so it's already a bad idea for me to go EITHER day!

Jesus- Tours really are an all day deal regardless of run order. There will only be 4-5 groups and you'll likely work well opposite your run heat. Rarely ever an AM or PM proposition like local events.

Yeah I think I ran group 1 worked group 4 last year, something like a 2-3 hour gap between running and working.

I have a spare queen bed at :

Courtyard San Diego Rancho Bernardo
11611 Bernardo Plaza Court
San Diego, California 92128
USA

Pr-requisites for being a good roommate would include not being a horrible snorer, or smelling like a homeless person!

Contact me if you're interested.

So...I'm looking for sunrise services, and not really finding them. (OK, there's one, it's kind of far away, and sounds like it will be mobbed.) Also thought about kidnapping one of our MDiv students to hold one for us at the start line.

OTOH, the church Jon goes to while at college has services both Saturday night and Sunday night: http://diveintoflood.com/easter/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Any other options people have come up with? (We're not Catholic, and I'd certainly prefer a church that is sufficiently ecumenical that taking communion would not be a violation of their principles.)

In 10+ years, running in just two classes (Ok, the classes have been renamed a few times...), I have always run in the 1st run group. This year I'm in the afternoon.

Not sure I like that change. SD does not clean the course again at lunch like we have at the Pro. I like choosing my own line, and not worrying about the accumulation of crud of others who decided where the "chosen" line should be. :(

UPDATE!!! Thank you Warren and others, the course maintenance during lunch was GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

This Pope Francis seems like a cool dude... Maybe he'd be willing to move Easter?
