E30 Coilovers
Looking for advice on E30 BMW coilover setups. Lil' Bro Sheldon picked up an '89 325i and now of course, wants to dump every last dime of his college financial aid package into mods!!! I'm assuming BC stuff is crap. KW's are popular on them but I have KW Variant 3's on the old STU SRT-4 and they blew out quickly. Seems like some Bilsteins or Koni Sports with Ground control sleeves might be best way? Just no experience with E30's. What say you oh demigods of internet collective wisdom???

Steve,
I would start with these, If you are staying with OEM sizes springs.

Re: E30 Coilovers
for a coilover, a kit from ground control is good for your $$. Koni is best since they have it valved for the E30.
there should be some used one out there. I know one that is plug & play for $1500. comes with camber plate for front
& rear top mount. no need to rebuild shocks. dont know spring rates but should be good for what we do.
cheers!
