BANQUET

Post by Renee Angel »

I notice that there are only 47 people registered for the Banquet next weekend. Come on folks, Robert Puertas has done an exceptional job at coordinating time and place for the Banquet. We have the WHOLE restaurant to ourselves and the food sounds fantastic.

I know there is a San Diego event scheduled for that day, but this Banquet will be the first one that is missing a key member of our organization. Let's all come out and celebrate the many, many years of committment Craig gave to the sport.

OK, i tried the link, but it was for a 3/1 autocross event. I'm sure it's "pilot error" but hey, I'm GRA.

So, I'll leave my headcount here:

Tom Dobyns...two people.

Tom,

You'll have to get on the website to register and pay. Most likely your month in the drop down box is set to March. I recommend setting it to 'all'.

I don't have my drawing tools on this computer, so I'm having trouble marking it, but it stands out on the pdf I've attached. PM or email me if you continue to have issues.

Please update my banquet registration. It will just be me, no child attending now :( I don't understand why she would want to go to some kids birthday party ;-)

just start using UR instead. it's ambiguous enough that the grammar police can only pin the internet-tard on you, rather than a failed education..

my weight advantage didn't help me vs. marshall when i went karting w/ him and another friend. i couldn't overcome my self preservation instincts on the turn-in at the end of the straight, considering my weight made the kart bounce all over the place, and was probably going 1-2mph faster than marshall was. :unimpressed:

if it makes you feel any better you were probably still going slower from lower speed at the start of the straight.. but he probably woulda just rammed you if you'd been in front of him.

careful jeff. people are gonna think you're a chicken. that story is about a shifter kart, we're talking about indoor electric karts. i would hope these karts don't trigger your "self preservation" instinct.

Your preservation instincts are dead on. You're all lucky I'm not coming cuz I drive a kart a whole lot like I played football. I make some of the F1 antics last season look tame.
