If I was like you guys, I'd make some autox jargon joke here about "short shifting" but I'm not like that.

I had so much fun. Thank you to everyone for being so friendly and helpful at my first time out with the scca. Thanks especially to mako for driving my car and all the pointers on my car.

hey jeff what were you driving?

here is a video of a mid day run with jason instructing. not my best but a decent run..
the turn after the first slalom was faster and smoother keeping it in third gear .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chplUoyKXV0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

the grip on the pavement was fun..
corded an inside front tire while simultaneously turning and braking on the super grip landing pavement , cant do that in a mr2 with thick front bar- it was a super quick lock up and instant release of the pedal with minimal weight on the tire... oh well the tire was close to dead anyway

i should have kept the camera recording for jasons tips.

Haha no problem you can drive it anytime! Definitely helped me cut time down to break 80 by the end of the day and thats not bad at all since i was starting 100+ sec.

I registered but haven't paid for the championship event this weekend (signed up for novice and xruns, i hope that right place to be signed up at) but i couldn't get into the practice or the evo driving school since they were all full :( . I hope to get more instruction!

I'm looking at the pics and WOW! You wanna make me a wallpaper for my desktop?
