Thanks Everyone!

Post by Will Kalman »

A big thank you to everyone working/running in the first group as well as the No$ event management for your patience with the Jr Karters. I'm going to try to talk to the other Jr Karting parents to group similarly fast drivers together so we can minimize the number of large gaps we have to leave between the bigger kids who are as fast as many full-size cars and the 5-7 year-olds who are just getting used to navigating a large course at speed. The little ones will ramp up in speed as well as prove themselves to us so we can shorten the gaps.

So do you think YOU look ahead? Check out Robert Ekstrand...

More Junior Kart pictures (and a Candid of Aaron probably posting on Steve Ekstrand's behalf }:) ) here:

Even though some of the karters look small, the images are very large if you download the originals and zoom in or crop them. Just click on "Get Original Uploaded Photo" and you'll get the full-size image. The image above is from this one:

From the pictures it look like the little tykes could drop a bunch of time by getting closer to the cones. If the FjC's are gear limited they should just hug the inside all the way around.

Mine just need to get on the gas! Robert is certainly ready to start learning lines.

Nah, Dane was good with it. But he's the quiet one so he's probably got a plan for next month already!

Robert cried the next day because Kencey (twice his age in an FJB kart) always beats him.

Actually it was really cute. He was running to her, before she even stopped. And was exclaiming in excitement several times, "You beat me, you beat me, you beat me!"

the best part was watching you parents pushing the cars to grid, with the kids in their driving gear following. looks like a mini F1 grid getting ready
it's only paranoia if your wrong
