Is the new Cali law only for dealers or also private sale? Did it even pass & get signed into law?
I sold my old Bronco & buyer really likes it, but just wondering................
Maybe his GF won't like it.

This law does not apply to motorcycles and off-highway motor vehicles or to transactions between private parties.
There is no "cooling off" period unless you obtain a contract cancellation option.
The web page says this law was effective as of July 2006, Is this the law you are refering to?Important: The contract cancellation option does not apply to used cars priced at $40,000 or more, new cars, private party sales, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, recreational vehicles, or vehicles sold for business or commercial use.

Just a rule of thumb Bob, if you have cash, it's a done deal.

Benjamin's in my jeans pocket.George Schilling wrote:Just a rule of thumb Bob, if you have cash, it's a done deal.
Had that B2 for 7 years. Put more $$ into it for repairs than I'm willing to admit, but both my kids enjoyed it. Good little "clunker"
Put 25k miles on it.
Thanks George
