PCA Event Registration? 10-11-09 El Toro
Anyone else going on Sunday?
I want to.
But, I have only attended one of these like two years ago.
Can I just show up? Pay the membership and then the days fees?
I have an open request to Steve Equina pending for more info.
Their website is confusing about membership, asking about my Porsche model name and what not.
Have anyone of you used their website for membership payment??

Last time I ran with them, as an x car (non Porsche) it was not required that you join the club. You do need a PCA club id to use the web site & prepay. Steve E will explain all.

Here is the info. I received from Steve Equina...
If it's not sold out go to pcaocr.org.......click on Auto-X........click on Registration and then AD NEW.........Be sure and write down the member # it assigns you as it is not your car #. You don't have to belong to the club but can't register till the week B/4 and event.
Any problems contact AutoXReg@sbcglobal.com.
I attempted to register last night But, SOLD OUT currently.
I emailed the address above to be contacted when drops happen.

Re: PCA Event Registration? 10-11-09 El Toro
Hi All,
It's me Christine, the 2009 PCAOCR AX Registrar... email address; autoxreg@sbcglobal.net
It's nice to see so much interest in our events. The information below should help answer your questions.
1) If you have a PCA Membership and/or own a Porsche you can register at anytime for an event.
2) If you're not a PCA member and you don't own a Porsche, but you have a "X" class car (anything other than a Porsche), you can register starting the Tuesday night before the event.
3) You do have to register in our system to get your own Driver ID # and Car #. The year, make and model of the car you'll be driving should be listed as well as your contact info.
4) Non-PCA membership is allowed (even though it's preferred)
5) Once you have registered in our system you can then register for our events.
Note; If you have not raced in our events before you must ask for an instructor. You can then be signed off by a PCAOCR "Chief driving instructor" CDI to go it alone.
Other Info;
Due to the volume of interest in these events, we limit the total number of drivers.
If the event is full.... Keep trying, as we do have cancellations.
We require payment in full at the time of registration.
(PCAOCR AX fee is $60 Up till the Wednesday night before an event and $75 thereafter )
Thanks for your interest in our events .
If you have any other Questions please email me.
