Well George I'm hoping they fit. I have 235 40 17 pilot sports on there now and there OK.

They'll fit. You can get 245s on the stock 17" wheels (depending on the tire), so 235s shouldn't be a problem.

I had no idea. I've had some rubbing problems running a larger tire. I know 225's will clear, wasn't sure about anything larger.
