We said we would do Gate on the 19th of May ... but of course, whatever the Chief of Chiefs wants.

Sorry about the misunderstanding Mako. With one or two exceptions, all of the chief positions were filled by May 1. Invitations were first given to people who had been chiefs for prior national type events. You were certainly on our short list back in April when the initial requests were sent.

No problem ... just trying to help.

btw. We're still having issues with people doing Gate that aren't up to speed on things like the Minor Waivers. There is even confusion as to whether we need SCCA AND El Toro Waivers signed for El Toro. A couple of events ago we had to sign two waivers and then at the last one we only did the SCCA ones ...

El Toro doesn't need a separate waiver.

Really looking forward to returning to El Toro. Test and Tune seems like a bonus, fun to attend another BBQ. Also looking forward to two competitive events in one weekend.

Just checking, is it $80 for FJC and FJB also?
Will there be a separate kart track for the kids to practice on like past El Toro events?

I think all the FJ's are $30 if I remember right. Its on axware.

I don't think we're having a separate jr. course.

EDIT ADD:
Okay... Just checked AxWhere. ?????? I sure thought it said $30 before. I show Robert entered at $15 don't know how that happened, but the only other option is $80. We can't charge full price for Juniors. SCCA doesn't do it, not even at Nationals. I'm sure its just an oversight. I would have sworn it was set at $30 initially.

What's up???

We're pretty much copying the national sound stuff. Basically 100db+ = dsq 'd run. Fix-it before subsequent runs.

I don't think 100db+ = DSQ. Unless I'm interpreting them wrong, it looks like you get 3 chances to fix it before any DNFs start getting handed out.

Per the National rules you can only lose your 3rd run and only if you were over 100 for all three. You don't lose your first or second runs, even if you're over for those runs...unless you refuse to make a repair or the Chief Steward doesn't approve your change. This is per-driver, not car.

Who are the Chief Stewards for the DIv?

The sound limit for El Toro Fields is 100 db @ 50’. The first violation will receive a warning. The second violation will receive a warning plus a correction must be made before taking a subsequent run. Subsequent violations will result in dsq for each run over the limit.

The chief steward is Tom Berry.

OK, so we are not using the National rules. Is this per-driver or per-car? Are we going to have all of our differences from the National Div Supps in our own supps for the event?

100db is pretty loud for a MC engine. If you have any muffler on it at all it should be ok.

He's a San Diego local. I never see him on this forum, probably better asking on that forum.

FJ prices? Bueller? I don't want to pay til we get an answer.

Not that I have any confidence I can pay the correct number with this system.
